Mansar Lake

On the same road beyond Surinsar, this lake is also reached by a regular bus service from Jammu (80 km) and accommodation is available in the Dak Bungalow.

The lake is about four-km in circumference and surrounded by dense mangrove stands, backed by pine trees on the slopes of the hills. It is covered with lotus flowers in summer.
